AKE and NGOs
AKE provides a wide range of services to NGOs working in insecure, conflict and disaster-affected regions.
We provide security training for NGO field operators and NGO managers, and assist NGOs to develop security policies. Risk assessment updates are available 24/7 via our online worldwide risk mitigation database - Global IntAKE.
We also broker insurance packages for local and expat staff. Individuals who complete AKE security training courses are eligible for reduced insurance rates.
AKE respects The Principles of Conduct for the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, and endorses the Montreux Document on Good Practices for States Related to Operations of Private Security Companies. See our Code of Conduct.
