Security, Medical and Off-Road
Driving in Remote Regions is a five-day course designed specifically
for NGOs and other professionals whose work necessitates driving
on- and off-road in challenging or hostile environments.
The skills and knowledge taught
are in five categories:
Personal and vehicle security awareness
Security planning
Vehicle familiarisation
Four-wheel driving techniques
Medical skills
The course combines lectures with
video footage and demonstration materials, and includes two
days of four-wheel driving, navigation and medical practice.
The programme is comprehensive and interactive, and includes
a series of challenging and realistic training exercises where
you test what you've learned.
Security, Medical and Off-Road Driving is complemented by the
Four-Wheel Driving Manual and Off-Road Aide-Mémoire;
comprehensive Medical Notes, Cultural and Medical Considerations
for Women, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder Notes.
The course is taught at our specialist driver training centre,
or if appropriate, at the location of your choice.
