Working in Challenging Environments
Working in Challenging Environments
is AKE's three-day course designed specifically for professionals
and executives whose work takes them to challenging and sometimes
hostile environments. Our clients include personnel from energy,
media, aerospace, engineering and mining companies, financial
institutes and NGOs.
Working in Challenging Environments is taught at one of AKE's
international training centres, or alternatively we can bring
the course to a location of your choice. Rather than offering
a set course irrespective of your profession, we prefer to
learn about you and your objectives first, and arrange course
dates and a location that suit you, so you receive the most
effective training possible.
The skills and knowledge taught are in four categories:
 |
Security awareness |
 |
Medical |
 |
Managing confrontation |
 |
Security planning |
The course is delivered in a blend of lectures and practical
scenarios, supported by video footage and materials. The programme
is comprehensive and interactive, and includes a series of challenging
and realistic training exercises where you put what you've learned
into practice.
Working in Challenging Environments is complemented by an introduction
to Global Intake, AKE's online intelligence and information
website, comprehensive Medical Notes and Cultural and Medical
Considerations for Women.
