Thirty years ago, AKE developed the world’s first HEAT course. What began as a single pioneering programme has since grown into a comprehensive suite of training solutions – each one shaped by decades of operational experience, real-world feedback, and an unwavering commitment to getting people home safely.

Our instructors bring extensive field backgrounds from high-risk environments across the globe, with many holding recent operational experience. Located on a private 50-acre estate, with access to an additional 500 acres of surrounding rural terrain, Dovehills provides the space and privacy to deliver realistic, scenario-based training in a controlled environment.
